Religion Matters

The Conference hold in Berne, November 26, 2010, tried to give answers to the following questions:

1. Why have religious factors in spite of being culturally, socially, economically and politically relevant been neglected during decades in discourse and practice of development cooperation?
2. Why did Worldbank, UNFPA and Bread for all come to the conclusion that "Religion matters"?
3. Were are Worldbank, UNFPA and Bread for all confronted with risks of instrumentalisation of religion tor political purposes?
