Ecumenical campaign"Nobody suffers from hunger, because we eat too much – but because we think to little" This slogan marked the start of the ecumenical campaign in 1969. For more than 40 years, Bread for all and the Swiss Catholic Lenten Fund, together with Being Partner, lead their campaign during lent period before easter. The aim of the campaign is to make people in the North aware about North-South-Issues and to promote solidarity with the disadvantaged. With the donations gained troughout the campaign, the organisations support projects in the South as well as the organisations development politics in the North. This years focus: 2011: One man’s treasure is another man’s sorrow: Mining and human rights.
